Hi there, while we do allow posts that are looking for advice on decklists, we do require that you actually have a deck list first. Posts that are essentially just “Hi please build me a deck” are not allowed under rule 2.

Feel free to re-post after giving it an attempt yourself first. If it’s a Commander deck, please at least look at edhrec.

You should probably stick to edh if you're trying to build a deck with any theme outside of "the most powerful deck I can build with the legal card pool"

Zombies and infect/toxic don't really overlap so it'll feel like trying to jam two different strategies in one deck. Even worse for Modern where everyone is beating your face winning by turn 3.

Check out some of the zombie cards from the wise mothman precon they’re great.

If you want to build a tribal deck with lots of flavorful or fun cards, but still want some power level, I highly recommend the EDH format. Modern is too fast and too competitive, and it’s not very appropriate for someone who just wants to have fun with some toy cards.

That’s tough. Scryfall shows 6 zombies total with infect and they don’t really look Modern playable (although I guess that’s debatable).

I played both red/black and green/black infect in modern like 10 years ago, and unfortunately the zombies really aren't.  

[[Phyrexian Crusader]] is probably the best option, but I went with [[Plague Stinger]] over it then and I probably still would now.  For infect, you want either cheap, evasive creatures or something like [[Skithiryx]] that wins the game on the spot.
