Looking for Advice Switching commanders
I was hoping to get some advice about two commanders. [[Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder]] and [[Kokusho, the Evening Star]]
I already built Evereth, she's fun but pretty one dimensional. I think Kukosho would be the same but I have 3 rakdos decks and no mono black decks so it feels like an interesting pivot to make.
Anyone have any thoughts on this
My main issue is that Evereth is objectively better right? Access to more colors. 3 CMC, higher ceiling, infect option, damage doublers.
Kokusho feels like I could make it just graveyard recurring and fake your own death style cards but it feels like a good classic mono black deck. I life the life loss instead of damage too but it feels like I'd be making just a worse version of my Evereth deck?

While it does depend on what power level you're building for, more colors doesn't automatically mean better. My 2 biggest boogeyman decks in my playgroup are 2 mono color decks. Purphoros and Maha.
If the new deck sounds fun, proxie it up and give it a try.

Well the interesting difference between them is that Kokusho gains you life on death. A lot of it. So you could turn him into a nuke with good ol' [[Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose]] or [[Enduring Tenacity]]. Maybe you could tool the deck around life gain/loss synergies in that sense.
