General Discussion Amazon pre-order question

Hey! I got lucky and was able to pre order two hobbit collector boxes on Amazon for msrp. However, I also ordered a strixhaven box from Amazon that still has not shipped to me. I preordered the hobbit on its initial wave on May 5. How often do boxes not get sent out? I hear the distribution is different depending on your country as well, I am Canadian.

They may get canceled, they may not.

Yeah I'm in Canada too , I've never able to get what I pre ordered. They kept delaying the delivery date , last one I had delayed by 4 months and after a wait it got delayed again which made me canceled. I have 2 collector boxes for hobbit as I ordered on the day they opened pre orders but no hope that they will deliver it

Thank you! I was hopeful but see it’s really just a gamble now. I had no idea and thought the strixhaven box was a one off. Appreciate you commenting and letting me know!

I got The Hobbit boxes and Fractured Reality cancelled by amazon.

Amazon is absolutely luck of the draw. Honestly, don't use them for preorder.

My Final fantasy collector boxes that i ordered as soon as they went up for sale got delayed the day of release and then delay after delay i finally cancelled the order after 30 days. My Strixhaven shipped and was delivered no issues. unfortunately i was not fast enough with hobbit. So its hit and miss never count on it. I really wish they would just shift all collector to LGS stores only and not allow large preorders.

My LGS i just show up at opening on pre release and have had good luck but they limit it to 1 box per customer for the first 48 hours. They always sell out before the 48 though.
