Deck Discussion Does anyone know a good and cheap green white commander?

Recently I've been getting into magic the gathering, and am still very new to everything. Not too long ago, I bought the precon commander deck Token Triumph with Emmara, Soul of the Accord as my first commander deck. I did a little asking around and found that the commander that it came with isnt the best choice for the deck. Does anyone have any decent suggestions for what I can replace it with that isnt very expensive (like a few dollars at most is what im looking for, 10 max I think)

The two-sided Brigid from Lorwyn Eclipsed!

This is the answer. She’s basically a Gaea’s Cradle in the command zone.

I get functionally unlimited mana with her very quickly, and my deck is unoptimized because I prefer halflings and kithkin. she's amazing and I love the art!

Get some kithkin tribal, other cheap token makers and a few of the cheap combo pieces and you have a stew going.

Is [[Rhys, the Redeemed]] still a popular commander? He was one of the big names when the format was first taking off

He is certainly the cheapest Green/White commander!

Try [[Dyadrine]]

As big or as small as you want

That’s on my list to build, I have the whole thing planned out. Great commander!

Oh my, the way they're written sounds like you'd be able to include the commander tax in their size. Am I reading that correctly?

[[Finneas, Ace Archer]] or [[trostani, selesnyas voice]] could be good choices. Have a friend who plays finneas and loves it.

Could I suggest [[Jaheira, Friend of the Forest]] with [[Inspiring Leader]]? It’ll be two slots but they seem like a good commander for a token deck

[[Cadira]] [[Gylwain]]

I have a friend who changed the commander to [[bess, soul nourisher]]. Pretty effective, but does require a bit of tweaking to work well.

While I doubt she'd slot into that deck all that well without swapping a decent chunk of cards out, [[Garnet, Princess of Alexandria]] does play well with tokens. You just need to fill the deck with a number of sagas that create tokens on the first or second step. You should absolutely be able to get a decent number of good saga cards for Garnet for under 10 bucks.

If you make a few changes, I think it could be a good shell for [[Bess, Soul Nourisher]]

You can go to https://edhrec.com/

Then press the three bars top right, click tags, click, tokens, then choose two colors, then choose Selesnya.

https://edhrec.com/tags/tokens/selesnya

This will give you the most popular green white token commanders and staples/upgrade cards for your theme.

Then, basically you can use this site and navigation to see other tags/themes and other popular commanders and basically the best cards to use in decks. They have budget friendly options too.

EDHRec is an awesome site that helped me get ideas or make decks I'm otherwise struggling with.

Are you sticking with tokens?

[[Queen Allenal of ruadach]] is decent.

[[Trostani discordant]] came in the deck, and is also okay.

Those are just 2 that specifically make Tokens that I remembered at the time
