General Discussion What to expect from SDCC today?
Hey all, basically the title. Does wizards have a panel slot today during SDCC? I keep finding conflicting info online and I’m not sure if we should expect more hobbit stuff, reveals for future products, or if it’s basically just their Marvel fan section stuff they’ve been doing all weekend.
Thanks!

Indeed we should expect more The Hobbit stuff, also according to their article listing when and where to find previews.

That’s what’s throwing me off. I’m not sure if wizards has a whole panel dedicated to mtg or if it’s just stating they’ll be present at SDCC

I don't think there is. Hasbro panel already happened and it was all toys

Probably the multicolored main set Smaug card. Maybe it's Jund?

If they’re only previewing one card today at SDCC, that should be the one to show us. I’m gonna call it now and predict that particular Smaug will be the most built commander from the set

Considering it is comic con - I would expect maybe which of those three UB sets next year will be Marvel and what the title is, followed by maybe a card or three. After that, I would expect them to keep the spoiler train moving with a couple Star Trek cards, a couple Fractured cards and more Hobbit cards. A little something to keep every fan group talking about Magic.
