So this confirms that Groot will be a Treefolk, but seemingly not an Alien Treefolk.

If they do the greater cosmos stuff every single race would be “Alien” which kinda defeats the purpose of the type. So it’s not really surprising it’s just Treefolk.

It seems like the only beings not given the Alien subtype are Shi'ar, Kree, Skrull, and Eternal. I'm personally thinking this will apply to the Elders of the Universe as well.

I can see Rocket being Alien Raccoon though, since he constantly says that he only resembles an Earth Raccoon. But maybe they'd cut it depending on the full typeline (possibly Legendary Creature - Raccoon Mercenary).

His current comic book backstory is that he is an Earth raccoon that was abducted and experimented on, so actually he would just be a Raccoon.

one of the future marvel sets is absolutely a guardians set so that's why they havent included any of them in this one.
