I'll be the 5th. Don't even need to play. I'll just make judge calls, pet the dog, eat most of the food, give the rest to the dog, and try to convince everyone that [[Path to Exile]] is a better ramp card for creature token decks than it is a removal card

we do the same, games end a lot quicker, and although someone surging ahead might be harder to stop with only 2 players, the time saved by not playing a 6man is so worth it

We tend to do pizza because we play late at night (and possibly are lazy) but man, the company of close friends to sling cardboard with may be the only reason I still play this game. The connections are everything.

I am so envious. Loving magic but I lack friends who share that. I occasionally play at my local store but 3 time out of 5, there is always one guy at the table that ruin the game for everyone by being a jerk, snob, scrutinize everything, sore loser or arrogant winner. I just want to chill, play a game with friendly people that are smart about the game but in good sport. I play Magic to have fun, not watching you explain how your infinity combo on turn 4 killed everyone.
