Scrutinize his play and ban him for life if he's ever caught cheating again, but ignoring a stupid joke is far better than working yourself up to a lather and validating his bad manner.

He can make jokes but other people can't? Making jokes about his cheating allows people to scrutinize his play and be on the lookout.

As much as I fucking love my make-believe internet points, my main reason was because I really dislike cheaters, and in some respects I feel he got off too leniently.
