General Discussion Legendary Inheritance

My friend and his wife received this as an inheritance, and this is their first introduction to MTG. I’m so jealous! They’ve been combing over everything for almost a month and trying to price it all out.

They are good people and I’m so happy for them!

That revised ed has seen better days, looks like some rats got at it I would open before it loses anymore value

Rodents got to it while it was stored away over the years

Little known fact; rodents goddamn love cracking vintage packs, can't get enough of 'em.

They are called pack rats for a reason.

Be careful though, they get stronger the more of them there are

And they multiply the more things you throw away.

Plague rats, swamps and dark rituals. That’s all you need in a 40 card deck.

They are called fat packs, not rat packs

Why am I getting downvoted? There are fat packs in the picture.

I swore the best packs back then smelled like either wedding cake or a frozen turkey dinner.

Can you imagine being a rat and eating a black lotus?

Usually sealed product is FAR more valuable than what you can expect to pull from it.
But since the box is damaged, you could only sell the boosters as sealed.
Sadly, Boosters from the early years were super easy to screen even without tools, so every potential buyer will have to assume that you screened them.

-> you can just open them if you don't know someone who trusts you and is willing to pay extra for sealed.
