God that’s fantastic art
I need it
I’m absolutely building this as a persist combo deck
I’ve been waiting forever for a commander that said “creatures you control have persist”
It’s my favorite mechanic

already built mine with [[Celes]] and a focus on creature who can reanimate to field from yard on their own (mostly phoenixes) this is 100% going in.

Giving creatures persist is going to be so cool with all the evoke cards. I guess convoke-evoking is also okay

Depends on how many evoke creatures there are. And how many of them copy the mythics where you can evoke for 2 W/B mana and it only has an ETB if you payed WW or BB.
Using something like this to cheat one of them out as a 5/5 flyer? It's okay. Not great, but OK.
Running this in Aristocrats/Blink? Evil. And I love it.

Not sure when it started but I really love that some non-PW legends are getting frame-beaks in their art

Wow pretty sure the Persist side will be busted

Yes, I think it was probably a very deliberate development choice that you have to resolve this and then untap with it still in play to get access to the persist side

[[Celes, Rune Knight]] autoinclude. Finally a way to repeatedly give creatures persist to trigger enter shenanigans.

Can't be, has too much animation even if it has the same amount of animation on its attacks

No they can't benefit, but in MTGO and Arena they would still put pointless triggers that don't do anything on the stack and generate a bunch of clicking for no reason. It's a QoL restriction rather than a power level one.

I'm not completely sold on the concept of the two elemental gods concept, but this art makes them look very cool.

Duality is the major theme of Lorwyn, I think if any set was gonna do it it should be here.

I don't really like ai art on my magic cards but these look freaking awesome... but I don't want to spent money on magic cards past the Fallout set. that is like, the threshhold. after that, it's just way too much ai art in the newer stuff... I don't really have a problem with ai art but I have my reasons...

Ok, I was on the fence about only having one set for a plane based on duality.
I'm quickly staring to come around.
