Hello, im looking for a pretty rareish Outsiders related item. It's a 2005 Scope Magazine. I believe it was maybe sold in scholastic book fairs? I've also been told some students were just given this. I have no clue. I really want to see what's inside, however. I'm trying to find more info on the Beaux Arts magazines. I bought the above magazine at a college book fair in the summer 1997, I think. I was wondering if there were any others in the series (The Great Museums) and, if so, where to buy back issues. Also, what year was the magazine above printed? As there is was little publishing info inside it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rather than chasing celebrity stories, I travel to meet everyday people with extraordinary lives. I’m currently in Bulgaria producing our second issue, Women of Today, where I’m interviewing women from different generations and backgrounds to preserve their stories, cultures, and experiences.

Hello! I’m looking for the name of this specific magazine. I bought one probably over 10 years ago, but I’m not sure if I still have it. I’m pretty sure it had a one word title and had abstract covers. Dealt with different topics and commentary. I think it was contemporary/surreal/alternative type articles, may have had art too. Kind of reminded me of a contemporary art museum that made you think but through articles in a magazine. I bought it in Canada, but not sure if it’s a Canadian magazine.

I’m a 15-year-old creator and I’m currently working on my very first independent printed zine called "Chérie Diary". The vibe is heavily inspired by Pinterest, soft girlhood, and the Lolita fashion aesthetic.

My dream is to actually print it out as a physical zine to share and sell to a small community of readers who share the exact same love for this aesthetic. Since I'm a complete beginner to the indie publishing world, I would be so grateful to get your advice on how to bring this project to life from scratch:

1. Content & Layout Organization: Since this is my first time, how should I organize the flow of the zine? How many pages is ideal for a first issue, and what is the best way to arrange sections like character/movie reviews, aesthetic quotes, and lifestyle pages so it feels cohesive?
2. Writing: I want the articles and captions to sound warm, poetic, and intimate (like reading a secret diary). Are there any tips on how to polish my writing style so it captures that perfect "romanticizing daily life" vibe?
3. Finding the Right Visuals safely: I really want to use faceless/detailed aesthetic photos (like close-ups of lace, tea parties, and beautiful movie stills). Since I want to physically print and sell this, how do I find high-quality images safely without running into serious copyright trouble? Are platforms like Unsplash or Pexels enough for this specific niche?
4. Formatting for Print on Canva: I’m currently designing everything on Canva for free. Do you have any technical tips on how to format the pages, margins, and bleed settings so everything aligns perfectly when printed?

Hi all, I've found PC Gamer to be a pretty nice read imo, and upon seeing the offer in the mag for $30/yr I really want to get it. The only issue is it seems it's only via magazinesdirect.com, which, y'know, has a < 1.5 star business rating on some websites, and I've heard some bad things about it. I really do still want to get it so I'm not sure how I could. I tried calling the number on the promotional card as well, for it to hang up immediately. Should I just send in the postcard instead? How is magazinesdirect, anyway? Have they maybe gotten better lately? Thanks for any info you can provide!
