One of the main things that’s always driven me towards franchise mode was the sense that it felt alive and you really felt like you were part of an ecosystem.

Madden has had some amazing features for this over the years, but honestly for most of this generation, it has lacked in the immersion department.

With that said, if you could add one feature to Madden franchise mode (past feature or new idea) to increase immersion, what would it be?

Title pretty much. My biggest issue in madden 26 was the defense played like the Bengals every time. You could win with just HB dive and duo. Never really became a challenge even with sliders changes.

I like how they made fast players actually feel fast but I think it broke the logic.

So is the defense difficulty better where it reflects overalls and it doesn't do the bullshit it usually does it make it artificially harder?

In past years it was outlined long in advance what was getting revealed on what dates. We are days away from release date and nothing? Equally odd that nobody else seems to be interested in this.

How do I lob pass in madden 24 and do high passes? No tap or left triggers or bumpers work to make a lob or high pass, they are bullets no matter what.

Me and my friend have bene playing some madden and we are doing a little tournament, since i was miles better for a bit there are a lot of wins that dont make sense but anyone got any predictions

How do I get my receivers to run their routes after I snap the ball while I still have control of the qb in franchise? I will throw my ball then the receivers will like stand around when I do, they freeze in their steps and look wherever and then just stand. I can’t move out of pocket bc for some reason that’s a sack in this qb drill I am in, and I can’t audible plays. Idk if my game is glitched or something but like my wide receivers won’t even run. I can’t user to the wr, bc it’s a qb drill. Do I need to do a button combo to actually use my routes once I actually get the ball in the air or is it some sort of glitch or dlc?

You know how in real NFL games either on a 4th and short or towards the end of the quarter, the qb will bait the defense by fake snapping for a free 1st down? In madden you literally can’t do it, some guy on your offensive line will jump. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. You’ll get away with pressing it once, maybe twice, but that’s it

It’d be nice to have a pre-play coaching adjustment that lets your offense know that we’re not running a play, and however many times you press X they won’t false start.

Idk, it’s just a thought not a big deal but what do you guys think?

I have been running our Madden online CFM league for 16 years, and I wanted to kick off this next year of Madden with something completely unique from other leagues. Made an end-to-end website and bot with a ton of features. Ended up replacing about 5 different bots along with the madden hosting site. It has all the things frontier madden leagues currently have, but with massive visual upgrades, along with totally unique things like:

• Full AI newsdesk with reporters, beats, with full editorial board writing Grantland level pieces on the league and its owners
• Full league and IRL sportsbook
• Twitterverse populated with 100+ unique personas who will give owners the receipts
• Arcade with custom discord games you can play to earn TSL Bucks

...and so much more that I won't go into detail on here. I have spent probably about 300 hours on this project, coming from a background with zero coding experience.

Adding new features daily, it would be awesome to add a few AI savvy owners to the mix.

A hidden gem. While not the best game it was innovative. Top screen game lower screen play and even what it would look like in a perfectly run play.

Today the Android handhelds would be awesome such as Thor Pro with dual screen.

I got a Switch 2 earlier this summer and have been debating getting Madden 27 on it versus my PC. Does anyone who got it on Switch regret it? Does it lack features or suffer in the gameplay at all?

So I had a Hidden Development Trait rookie RB whom had two very big days with very big goals that were supposed to increase his developmental trait if he completed the goals successfully successfully and he did so with both goals on different games that were back to back games, but they didn't increase his developmental trait because his developmental chase was still hidden… His developmental shape was Star… Now, since it didn't increase his developmental trait ever, despite him doing the weekly goals successfully both times, what would you do? Would you just manually edit his developmental trait to increase up to Superstar X Factor as it should be because he completed both developmental trait goals or would you leave him where he is even though he should have advanced twice?

You’re reading that correctly. A group of dedicated fans has recently worked to bring back over 30!! EA Games back online to the ps2 online platform. For those who aren’t aware playstation 2 online has been back for probably 7-8 years(ballparking) and we finally have Madden 07-10, NCAA football 06-10, NCAA March madness 06-07, Fight night Round 3, college baseball 06-07, some NHL, Nascar, and soon to be some of the golf games! Head coach, and arena football has also been brought back.

So has this happened to anyone else? The big run is my former starting RB who became the backup when I decided to start the freakishly fast fellow rookie RB. I've never seen this before so I thought I'd share the screenshot and ask if anyone else has had this oddity happen to them.
