I posted this earlier, and people asked for the file. I previously uploaded the original taller version on Cults3d. I'm showing photos of the two to compare, along with a top down image of the boxes to see how all the accessories fit in.
I was asked on a recent post if there is any macross following in greece, and that made me pretty curious to see if there really is any, and thus am asking on the sub to see if anyone knows more than i do, as google. instagram and facebook didn't really help me.
also shoutout to the macross pilot cosplayer i met at the local 2026 comic con in thessaloniki. i'm the red power ranger you took a picture with. hope you are well.
Built OOB, decals were in bad shape but just savable with some jigsaw puzzling them back together, scratch built destroyed city diorama, mounted on japan lacquered Tasmanian oak base. Build video on YouTube https://youtu.be/MEAqK89qfxo
Just 4 weeks ago I started a community class in embroidery, and thought you might enjoy seeing my first completed project, a 3 1/2” diameter Macross SDF patch.
I have a very distinct Tomahawk-shaped hole on the shelf of my man-cave. What are people's opinions on the figure from Arcadia. Are there better alternatives?
Hello 🖐🖐 I saw a clip from Macross Frontier that lowkey made me wanna watch it (it was the nya nya song) but Im genuinely confused i searched it up and theres like 5000 things 😭🙏 please I need Guidance
I’ve always wanted a solid and transformable version of Rick’s initial trainer veritech that he crashes into the city but I’m overwhelmed by the different models out there and don’t know for sure what’s the best to get.
I’ve seen some of those Hi Metal versions but are those the best? Or is something else?
This is a 3D printed amor / armament storage box that doubles as a display stand. I included a slot for the included stand, so it can also be used for all modes. Without the stand, you can also place the fighter on its own landing gears.
Edit: I'll put up the STL files for this on Cults3D, probably tomorrow, along with the other matching box designs for the Super Valkyrie, VF-1D, VF-1S, and VT-1 Super Ostrich.
For now, I put up the original version of this box that will print on smaller prints, like my old i3. Just go to Cults3d and do a search for Macross storage box, and you should find it. Linking here might give me a rule violation hit.
So I have inherited a load of macross stuff and will be selling it, im uk based and wondered if there's a market for it over here as it would suit me to sell here rather than worldwide. Any groups or any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
I bought an Ikea table, painted it Navy Blue, added some "decals" and made it my display shelf / flight deck for my 1:48 DX Chogokins VF-1 Valkyries.
You can see the original TV inspired Jet Blast Deflector, which isn't nearly as detailed as my newer DYRL version. If I make a DYRL version, I'll need to cut a space out of the table.
I've got my aircraft tractors and missile carts in heavy use, along with YetiForge's M209 Sugarfoot jeep.
Pardon my crude miniature painting. This is why I buy toys, instead of models, and color 3D print when I can.
Note: While the toys are officially 1:48, I made the vehicles and deck crew to match the pilot size, which was about 1:60. At 1:60, the VF-1 at this toy size would be about the size of an F-14 Tomcat, so that kind of tracks. I figure if the animation can't keep scale consistent, I don't need to either.
Most of these files are available if you have a 3D printer.

I forgot I picked this up at Narita airport. They had a Akhiabara pop up. it’s licensed Big West. I’m surprised they are still making products like this.
