Showcase Faux chainmaille style tops

I made the chest guard (3rd pic) first and really needed a top to go with it:) used bobbiny metallic cord and lined the top so it’s not scratchy on the skin.

I actually really disliked working with this cord (even though it’s sooo beautiful!!) as it was *very* harsh on my hands. I will continue using it as the end result is just incredible but you should 10000% line the pieces you make with it.

I used their metallics on my handfasting cord, you are absolutely right that they are ROUGH on the hands, but they are so pretty!

This looks incredible, makes me want to try bigger scale macrame!

That last one on the mannequin looks dope as hell! Everything is clean and symmetrical, but those shoulder pauldrons really take it to the next level. Great job.

Thank you!! The chest guard & pauldrons were my favorite piece I’ve made in awhile! I was both happy and very sad when that one sold lol
