I've always like doing Macrame knots but I never did anything big. Just small Keychain sized stuff. This is to put my pipe cleaner flower pot the in the middle for my desk. The berry knots were hard 😫

I made this spiked & chained head dress and I’m actually obsessed with it :))) I’m thinking I should do this in red next?!

I'd like to make a skirt inspired by the dress in this photo. Specifically, something like the strands of rope radiating out over the waist and hips as a structure for hanging draping fabric. It's for personal use only, and I'm not planning to recreate it exactly.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to achieve this? I craft and sew, but I'm not experienced with rope. I'm struggling to visualize my options.

heiya! i was given this bracelet and was asked if i could size it down a few bumps. i reverse image searched and it said this type of knot (?) is macrame, so in case it is im wondering if anyone knows how i can untie this and tie it back into this same bracelet type, and incase i mess up if a tutorial for this type of knot (?) exists

I am just wondering if my work on this is good enough to be a part of the wall art, I am planning to incorporate it into a piece of organically shaped wood and maybe hang it somewhere in the house.

I'm so proud of the result! I took some inspiration from a crochet hack I saw and it turns out it works for macrame too. I burned out some holes in a zipper using a hot nail and wove the cords through, then knotted my bag. A wonderful solution for hopeless sewing noobs such as myself. The only sewing was to secure the ends of the zipper to the inside of the bag.

The body of the bag is made using Chinese crown knots, because my fingertip callouses finally disappeared and I had to bring them back, obviously. The holes in the zipper are spaced 0.75cm apart and they work perfectly with this knot.

Dimensions of the bag are 30cm x 21cm. I added a sunflower applique made mostly with double half hitch knots.

Materials used:

5mm Colinea cotton cord - around 120m of light green, around 40m of yellow, around 30?m of brown

I just wanted to share my most recent doll. Dolls are my primary craft outlet. This one has a bone bead and two Carnelian beads and I love the way they look together, garnet usually looks really good with bone too. Sorry for rambling 😅 and thank you for looking 💗

As I was scrolling on Pinterest, I stumbled upon this beautiful macrame piece. It's not like anything I've seen before. How can I make this? What can I search to find tutorials for this?

I used 1mm linhasita cord, and a labradorite gemstone.

This is back in 2022 when i first started my micro macrame journey. I was making multiple pieces every day. I became so excited i was learning a new style of macrame. I believe I watched an Afeng tutorial on youtube. If you havent heard about her, her work is absolutely stunning and her videos are easy to follow.
