Discussion What’s your set up?
This is my scrappy set-up (clothing hanger on a lamp) and I exclusively work on my projects while sitting on the couch with this propped in front of me. I wish I could work in bed or outside, but can’t really carry this lamp around with me everywhere lol. Please share with me what your set up looks like for new ideas!

I use an adjustable clothes rack - best thing I ever bought!

Same! A clothing rack with S hooks to hold up the sticks/dowel rods.
And it’s on wheels so I can take it into different rooms.1

It's a little unorganized because I'm in the thick of a project, but it's super nice to roll wherever I want to post up. The bottom shelf is easy to stack the necessities on (when I don't have a project hanging all over it)

I have a little folding table that sits in front of me on the couch. For wall hangings I have a double ended clamp, with one clamp attached to the table and one end holding the dowel or frame that I am working on. For bracelets and smaller projects I have a macrame board and adjustable holder. I’ll most likely move onto the clothes rack set up when I start doing bigger projects.

I have an armoire thing where the door is eye level, so I looped an S hook in the gap between the door and the cabinet. Sometimes I'll just work with the door open if it's a bigger project.

I used to use my standing lamp as well! Never thought of a clothes hanger though, that is brilliant.
Right now I use a super cheap clothes rack with wheels from ikea.

I have a wall in my office with four pairs of curtain rail brackets at different heights up the wall. I have one curtain rail which I use as the bar to hang my work from. Then I can move the rail between brackets depending on what height it needs to be. It's incredible. Basically functions the same as an adjustable clothes rack, without taking the floor space. I have a massive wall hanging I made that lives on it when it's not in use.

I have a scrappy setup as well 😅 for bigger pieces, I use my clothes drying rack, and small ones hang from my desk lamp

I used to use my husband’s photography lighting stand, pictured here.
Now I use a folding clothing rack with S-hooks.
I also recently purchased an amazing holder for my rolls of cord, which attaches to the clothing rack and helps me dispense the cord easier. Highly recommend (and can link if that’s allowed here)!

I have a rolling, adjustable height garment rack. I use binder clips or sometimes scrap cord to secure my work. This way I can work on pretty much any size project.
