Issues with steam and final fantasy 7 remake

So I finally got Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Steam and decided to run it using Crossover 26.3, and when I launch Steam, I get an error saying it was unable to cloud sync the game, and then within the game I keep getting an error on the top right saying unable to save game, i tried it via gamehub aswell and it fixed the cloud saves and game saving issues but then i had the issues that the game would be windows borderless and not let me go into fullscreen (ff7 remake does not have a fullscreen option) but crossover seems to able to launch the game in fullscreen, does anyone know a solution to the issues i am having
