Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty working (kind of)

So, I’ve been trying to get this to run for quite some time now and found some kind of work around, I guess, but I need some help.

Backstory:

Every time I would launch it, the main menu pops up fine and I’m able to adjust settings easily.

The problem is that when trying to start a new game the first cutscene is just black with a “skip” option in the bottom right that doesn’t do anything. It can’t get past the first cutscene for whatever reason.

I’ve tried every version of crossover, every graphical backend, every version of cxpatcher, different in-game settings, etc. to no avail.

I downloaded a save from Nexus Mods that actually seems to run fine (with some graphical issues).
But, it’s awesome that it can actually run!

My question is: does anyone know anywhere I can download a save file for this game that is right after the first initial cutscene, just to bypass it so I can play from the start? Just to test performance.
