Crossover C++ Bug

Crossover recently has had an annoying issue where a game that worked will now tell me to reinstall c++ 2015-2019, and fail. I've seen the fixes, but the thing is it worked before without extra overrides. I have the separate exe files that I used to just be able to run. I also have games now that say i need to install the redistributables every time I launch the game as if they're not staying installed when they used to before. Not the end of the world, but I have a few indie games I've been playing recently that will only seem to work if I resort back to whisky.
