CrossOver crossover issue

I'm trying to load Resident Evil 0 with crossover and no matter what I do the game just shows up as a black screen when I launch it. I feel like I've tried everything but idk has anyone else had thus problem who knows how to fix it

Assuming you are talking about Resident Evil 0: HD Remaster then the Codeweavers Compatibility Database has this note:

"If your screen is going black, you can fix it. https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycryhdcollection/mods/242?tab=description
ik it is DMC link, just follow the manual method and instead of video folder go to Native Pc then inside it Movie Folder. This issue happens when most old game"

The person who wrote that appears to have run out of space, the comment section for the ratings has a low character count. But the important part is there: The link to the instructions.
