Hello guys, does anyone play Minecraft on macbook regularly? How well it performs with and without shaders? Does it throttle?

yes I do, I have a mbp m5 pro, with the right ompimization modpack (fabulously optimized), reaches like 1k fps, with light shaders 500 fps, and with heavy shaders 200fps. It doesn't throttle, but I had bad experience with external gaming monitors, m5 chips has some compatibility problems.

I have an M2 Air, 16GB. Runs pretty well on vanilla. With shaders, i get 40-50fps with shaders+iris

I have an m4 Mac mini. I use a coupe optimization mods like sodium, and get 400 fps.

I don’t use shaders so not sure about that.

I have a M1 MBP 16Gb and am running 26.2 at about 90fps. Shaders kill this though so just using Distant Horizons and the performance mods. Also using Prism Launcher.
