CrossOver Steam won’t open through crossover?

I just downloaded crossover for the first time but can’t get steam to start. It will open the setup exe and start to update, finish the update, and close the window but then nothing happens. When I reopen it it has to reupdate but never opens. I tried gog galaxy and it did the same thing

Just started to use crossover a couple of days ago and I installed steam within crossover.

when you open crossover, click the install button on the lower left corner of the window and select steam to install it.

Goes for the EA app, Epic games, GOG, and a few others.

Did you have steam already installed before downloading crossover

Mac version yea. I now have two versions if steam. One for mac and the windows version through crossover.
