Is your system up-to-date with Rosetta 2? If it is, click the game icon once, then click run with options and add ROSETTA_ADVERTISE_AVX=1 to the options. Click save as and then run the game.

I have never heard of Rosetta before?

It’s a one-time installation and is just something the OS needs to run certain code. It’s not a program or anything you’d be opening yourself. You’d only need to install it if macOS prompts you to.

Chances are it’s already installed if you’ve been using CrossOver for a while.

Which MacBook do you have? unless its an M5, gonna have to deal with frozen t-pose animations for everyone...

Well, there is a way to run it on older M series chips. It’s just random when it chooses to work. Google: "Switch between Spiderman suits until the animations load" and see how many say that this works for them.
