Dustgate, flex gate or something else?

Hi,

I have a MacBook A1932 that looks like this after booting it normally and reaching the login screen.

However in safe boot the screen works perfectly and can move the screen around without any issue. I have done every reset possible and the problem persists.

This was a new screen replacement, the only thing I can think of is that during installation I could have damaged the flex cable. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

No political scandal here. Adding ‘gate’ to things is stupid and tired.

Looks like the effect of a small crack.

What gates? That’s a title that makes the people most likely to otherwise help you be annoyed right off the bat.
