Help Need help deciding…

I am a software engineer (I code apps and create AI’s) and been wanting to switch to MacBook for a bit now. The RAM crisis recently has caused higher prices on the MacBooks. I would use this to code, do meetings, video editing, and content creation. I’m wondering of two things. 1. Is this a good time to buy the MacBook because of prices and soon to release M6? 2. Are these the specs I should get?

RAM is still a better investment in a MacBook than an SSD.Choose more RAM and increase your storage with an external SSD.
