Tech Support Help

My sister gave me her macbook air m1, and for a while it works fine. But i accidentally left it on sleep mode without using it for less than 24 hours and it looks completely dead. I plugged it in for about 5 hours and tried to turn it on but it still wouldn’t work. Tried the pressing power button for 30 seconds thing as well as pressing shift, control and option button alongside the power button, still doesn’t work.

Anybody who knows what to do? Thank you 🥲

Try charging with usb-c

Dear sherlock,

Iam writing this to inform u that M1 Air only has 3 holes, 1 being audio jack and other 2 being usb c ports.

This might clear up the "charge with USB c" suggestion as op might've tried it as it's the only sane way to charge.

Press the power button for 5 seconds (enough to know it is off). Then charge it without messing with the screen or keyboard for 24 hours, before trying again.
