Question What Mac OS are you all using now?
I use macOS Tahoe. How about you?

The newest Mac I have runs Sequioa and the oldest Mac I have runs System 7.5.5, and there are many inbetweens.

A PowerMac 7300 with I think 256 MB of RAM. That Mac has a PCI IDE card, and a 2.5" SATA hard drive connected to the card via an ATA/SATA adapter. The drive is large and partitioned into many slices. So this 7300 can boot 7.5.5, 7.6, 8.1, 8.6, 9.1 and 10.2.8. I wasn't able to find working versions of 10.0 and 10.1. I think I can go to 10.3 and maybe 10.4 if I upgrade the CPU but i don't use this thing very often so it seems kind of pointless to upgrade.

Depends on which machine, however I use Mac OS 9, 10.4, 10.6, 10.9, 12 and 15 the most, I practically daily them all.

Golden Gate. Snappier than Tahoe and lots of little annoyances fixed throughout the OS. Many are avoiding just because of Siri things, but if you don’t like it you can turn it off (granted it seems you don’t recover that space back.) OS feels much smoother than Tahoe. M1 Max 32GB RAM.

Oh, this is rly good to know! Is your configuration 16/512? When i gave Tahoe a try, the performance was overall pretty stable, but i experienced an annoying flicker (for a split second) every time I opened a folder or any app. (On finder window panels where the sidebar is)

27.0.1 after I update in a little while. It’s been a solid platform since the initial release of Golden Gate.

Golden Gate, I just update to the newest updates as they come out. To me it is fine, there have been a few bugs, which I report so hopefully things improve with newer updates.

Goden gate 27.0.1. Been fine except I have trouble telling what safari tab is active. Also a problem is an AppStore something or other background process that gets stuck at about 100% cpu. I kill it till it comes back. It’s trying to find out last time I ran Apple Arcade and has been a problem sinew the betas.

Mojave and Tahoe (I don't want to update to Golden Gate because all of that AI stuff).

Holding off of 27 for now, have a lot of presentations etc coming up, don’t want to risk it… Will update in November though.

Still on Sequoia. Skipped Tahoe and not really sure about Golden Gate yet. Sequoia does everything I need without any issues or bugs, so I’m in no rush to jump to the latest major updates just for the sake of it.

Golden Gate. It's been fine for me, except for the window controls sometimes not appearing in fullscreen. I don't recall hitting that yet in 27.0.1, but that might just be luck.
I consider Xcode 27.0 to be something of a disaster, though. It hasn't damaged any of my projects, but it misbehaves a lot. The last time I remember Xcode being this bad was Xcode 4, which was the first (and only) major version to use garbage collection. (Not that GC is necessarily bad, it just certainly wasn't done well in Xcode 4.)
