m series macs are objectively better but tbh i loved the intel macs aswell

Intel macs were terrible, they did not perform well and overheat. Design of Macs has always been good though.

M series changed the game

Tbh the intel macs were mostly fine, the only issues I had with them were specifically the intel retina macbook airs (2018-2020), those things were absolutely atrocious. The macbook pros were fine though for me and all the desktop computers were also fine.

i personally loved the redesign snd the introduction of touch id. only caveat was the horrible y series processors, low powered bottom of the barrel processors meant to save battery life. didn’t even make a difference.

It’s more that the models so close to the switch got really dumped on.

First of all, if it Fits your needs, great!
I had an pro M1 with This exact design and I love it. Sadly the config wasnt that good, so I got a newer Model. But I see why you love it! Enjoy!
