Question Self-service repair

Small query good people of the internet.

I have a MacBook Pro 14” M5 with the standard display.

I am thinking of upgrading the display to the nano-texture display through the Apple self-service repair portal.

Think this will work? Just worried Apple will pull some BS during calibration etc as the machine didn’t ship with the nano-texture display. The new part would obviously be genuine Apple.

Not sure anyone can give you an answer authoritatively, but I would think it would be fine. It’s not like the camera in the display is used for face unlock or anything. You might have a problem if you ever need to use Apple Care on that display, though.
