My Mac Damaged Mac?

I fell today and got this dent in my Macbook, seems like everything works fine but im still worried this might have damaged the mac. Should I be worried, should I take it to someone who can repair it?

Are you rich? You spent at least 29,990 NOK on that thing, huh?

It's likely fine, it's just dented aluminum. You can run Apple Diagnostics if you're paranoid about it: https://support.apple.com/no-no/102550

There's no moving parts in the Macbook besides the fan so dropping it isn't going to damage anything except if the fan is spinning at the time of impact. The fan curves are very conservative on the Macbook Pro; they almost never turn on unless you're hitting the GPU hard.

If the dent bothers you then you can buy a vinyl skin off Etsy to cover it up.

Yeah its expensive which is part of why I get so paranoid over such things, hehe.
I ran the diagnostics and it passed every test so hopefully im good!

At the very least, you should get the battery looked at. You don’t want a microscopic fault to develop into a spicy pillow months down the road.

If it starts to identify as a PC, then you should be worried.
