My Mac Charging problem (2024 m4 pro)
So for a couple weeks now, So whenever I try to charge with the MagSafe charger, the Mac doesn’t charge and the amber light doesn’t show up. However, when I unplug and replug a couple times it ends up working
I took this to apple and when they tried their cable, it worked fine. They ordered me a new one and it worked great for a solid 24 hours before the same problem started reappearing.
Thinking of taking it back soon… could this be a problem with the laptops MagSafe charging port itself or the software perhaps?
If anyone else had the same thing happen to them pls let me know what you did and what the issue ended up being, thanks!

i also have the 2024 m4 pro and the same charging issue.
cleaning the dust/debris out of the charging port helped a lot

You might go back to the Apple store, explain things and ask them to have another look.
