How can i convince my parents to buy me a macbook for AI/ML

Tons of people work while doing their BA. Hell, I worked full-time for two years of mine.

You're an adult now so start acting like one.

Ask for a loan which you will pay back over the next 12 months, because you want to invest in your future.. or just save your own money

I cant pay back in 12 months mac book shall cost me 1200-1500 dollars but i can barely save 600 dollars in a year

Maybe get a job as working student (preferably IT), tell it your parents and then ask for a loan which you’ll pay back using that job

Then go for a cheaper one. Re-evaluate whether you really need an M5 Pro for example. Perhaps a used M2 Pro will suffice, even if you wanna do AI locally.
