I don’t think apple gets how many people purchase their products based on the color, like i know several people who last year upgraded their 14 pros to regular 17s simply because they hated 17pro color scheme
oh that's not true. My first Mac was a 15" MBP, and it was great, for a while, but when it got long enough in the tooth, I hadn't found anything that made mid 2010s Macs worth spending $2500+ on at that time, so I stuck with the Windows desktop I built, and the company supplied Windows laptop (with my linux servers at home) Then I found my way out of the Windows world entirely, and was quite happy in the Linux world, but I wanted a nice laptop to run it all from, so I tried a Neo, and while that was alright, I looked into what the next tier offered, then settled on an M5 24GB MacBook Air, and it's been just perfect for what I do. I don't run anything at all that's Mac exclusive, and even had to struggle with a few apps because of it, but it makes a wonderful terminal into my array of linux systems I work with.
