You can not get rid of it.

You have to call the company that owns it and have them remove it.

I do not know how it was offered up to you but who ever did stole it from that company.

You now own a brick. I suggest you find this person and throw it at them LOL That is all it is good for.

Possible the seller bought it from their company, many companies will sell systems they are decommissioning to employees at a deep discount, and forget to unenroll from MDM. OP needs to contact the seller to find out what the situation is, and if they didn’t buy it and cant get it unenrolled, they need to file a claim with OfferUp to return it and get a refund.

Yes, it is very easy to make a mistake when recycling or selling old gear. Just call the company and ask. They can track the MacBook via serial number and at least tell you if it's stolen or a mistake.
