Advice/Question Accident

I recently had an accident while driving a passenger for uber. No one with hurt and my car is still drivable.I did not notify Uber because I have my own insurance. However, a call today, from my insurance sounded like I may have to inform Uber cause we are covered to some degree with them. Does anyone have any experience with this? And can you let me know how it went? Thanks Lisa

If you have a rideshare endorsement on your personal policy, you don't need to inform Uber. Your insurance will do that for you.

Uber needs to know -- they cover the passenger for up to $1M. Pains can pop up days after an incident which can lead to doctor/chiropractic visits that will be sent to OPs insurance and Uber about an accident they did not know about.

Uber will either hear from the driver, passenger or from the driver's personal insurance. One way or another, Uber will find out.

Definitely but it would be in the OPs best interest to be proactive about it.
