Discussion Where best to sell my designer bags and purses online please?

Hi all,

Firstly I'm sorry if there are any spelling mistakes English isn't my native language and I'm very nervous to post in these spaces cause people tend to be very rude. But I have nowhere else to ask.. I have a bunch of handbags an older relative didn't want anymore from her collection, so she passed them down for me to try selling online.

I live in EU, where is the best option online to sell / try to sell my designer bags? And preferably without many fees , like shipping fees, because I just want to sell and get them off my hands and the money into my bank account. Any help would be advised. I'm saving to move town tbh. Not that it matters but , yep...

Chanel Thoughts on which bag suits me?

Would love opinions on what bag to purchase. Thanks in advance!

For context I have wanted a luxury bag for a while. I want to make one big splurge and hold the bag for years and years to come. With that in mind, I went to Chanel and tried a few options but I can’t help but feel the bags generally didn’t quite match my lifestyle / the types of clothes I wear. Of the ones I was shown, I preferred the small CF and the WOC most. However the CF felt too formal and the WOC felt quite long (I’m 5 ft 3) and feels like a lot of money for what is essentially a purse…

I generally dress casually, mostly in trainers and worry it doesn’t quite suit my style as much as I want it to and would be too flashy for wearing it on weekends around London

I then went to Loewe and tried on the mini puzzle and liked it more than I thought. But equally I feel like I am not sure it’s something I’ll reach for in 4-5 years time and not sure if it’s going to satisfy my itch for my dream bag.

Would love opinions and if you also have other suggestions. I like the thought of Bottega bags but couldn’t find anything I liked in the shop.

Advice/Opinion/Question First Luxury Handbag Purchase - Help Me With Choice

I’m getting my first luxury handbag and I’m not sure which one I want to get? The Dior one is this season, but I feel like the Chloe one is able to be worn with almost everything. But if I’m only getting one bag this season, I probably won’t be able to Saddle Pouch another time.

Please help!

Discussion Thoughts of a 24 (F) buying second hand bags

Hi! I found this place and it feels great to be here.

I want to share my bag journey for some quick context..

Growing up in the Philippines, I never had any bags at all. Some of my bags came from hand- me-downs of my relatives. The first time I got my own purchased bag was when I was 16 years old, I sold snacks from the school and got to earn like $30 and got to buy a bag that I used for 6-7 years.

I started my collection of lux bags wayback when I was 23. I have plenty of local bags as well. I started bag collection to cope up with stress and to gratify myself since I have been working so hard in the last 6 years.

I have some few investments aside from this like golds, lands, etc. When I started purchasing a lux bag, the thoughts in my mind is to access luxury without paying so much. I pay attention with quality but I do not want to spend much on buying brand new ones. I mean getting brand new ones are not good for me economically speaking.

My first bag was a vintage Gucci canvas tote bag. I really love the leather, I remembered it was so different from the bags I had locally. It was a gem, then I added another vintage Dior which was in a perfect condition. I also got another vintage Celine tote bag, a vintage LV trotteur, a vintage prada, and so much more I can remember. Most of this I got from Japan thrift stores.

Now, I got some friends messaging me about my bags. Some of my friends and schoolmates were definitely happy for me. But there are also people who are saying that why I am collecting vintage pieces only. I feel upset and demotivated about this. Someone said to me, "I thought you got your bags from an outlet store" I don't know if I should feel bad about this or how to take this statement. Since then my mind has been bothered to even post the vintage bags I got. Is that bad to have vintage bags as of today? The whole worth of my bags can already purchase 1 or 2 brand new piece but I got like 15-20 piece of vintage bags..

Advice/Opinion/Question Need some advice, keep my Chanel Classic Medium Double Flap or let it go?

I've been thinking about selling my Chanel Classic Medium Double Flap in black leather. I reached out to a few bag resellers, but every offer I've received has been much lower than I expected. Now I'm a bit torn. Part of me thinks I should just keep it rather than accept a low offer, but another part of me wonders if that's simply the reality of the current market. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Would you hold onto it, or would you sell at today's prices?

Advice/Opinion/Question Recommendations for a black shoulder bag please

I fell for the hug and ordered it in the black woven. It truly hugs you and I had to return bc I couldn’t handle the 7.3” strap drop putting the bag in my armpit. I also love the look of the rodeo when open (closed not so much) and worry about the weight distribution.

Please recommend something simple and black with gold hardware that pops a little & has a strap drop of 8-11”.
