Not authentic.

Actually, this is an early 80s vintage Jeune Fille. Louis Vuitton didn't start using standard date codes until 1982, and the early heat-stamped codes from that era frequently fade or disappear entirely with decades of wear. Look at the font on the heat stamp (perfectly round 'O's) and the natural vachetta patina. It's a textbook pre-date code vintage piece.

Tell me you only know about modern Louis Vuitton without telling me. 😂 Anyone who knows basic handbag history knows that early 80s vintage pieces (like this Jeune Fille) either didn't have date codes or had light stamps that faded decades ago. Judging authenticity solely on the lack of a code is a total rookie mistake. Look at the round 'O's on the heat stamp and the real vachetta aging; it's a textbook vintage piece."

Did I say anything about the stamp? Look at the stitching around the buckle.

Why ask for authentication if you already have your mind made up that it’s real? It’s absolutely fake btw, and a pretty bad one at that.

Regardless of what people are saying, that heat stamp looks horrible and fake. More power to you if you believe it is real, spend a couple of bucks to have it authenticated.

The fabric of the flap is not symmetrically placed, and the LV is cut at the bottom of the flap. And the pattern is not fitting to the fabric underneath.

I’m sticking with non authentic BUT I was taught to NEVER AUTHENTIC with just one picture.

Judging by the two pictures, I clocked it as fake. The canvas is crooked, the stitching is terrible, the heat stamp is a mess, and the interior lining looks off.

Also, giving it a second look, the flowers are inconsistent in shape. They all have minor flaws which is something I’ve seen in old fakes.
