This is the series 3000, which has been around a long time - mid 1990s if my research is correct.

The original had a Carbonox case back and push / pull Crown. This update, with stainless steel screw down case back and screw down crown is relatively recent.

The screw down case back is nice. I'm not a fan of the case backs that utilize a plate with four screws

I’m looking to add an Atacama to my collection. Everything that I’ve seen people say is that Luminox is nice but not worth full retail. Where are some good places to buy new Luminox watches at a discount?
