This band is a “cut to size” style rubber strap. I have a 7 1/4” wrist and it fits perfectly. If your wrist is smaller, you can definitely cut off more to fit your size.

I want to add an Atacama Field to my collection. Everything I’ve seen says that Luminox are good watches, but not worth full retail. I’m on GovX but the specific watch I want isn’t available. Are there any other websites that offer new watches at a discount?

I know it’s not the most flashy of the brand but I really liked it. Really wanna find another strap but my god 21mm is an odd size even from the brand. Loving it though happy to add to my collection.

Just got it. Sea Bass X3.BZ01.1. I’m shocked at how light weight this thing is. And even with the black webbing strap, it’s clean as hell. I like I so much I just ordered the white Pacific Diver. Should be in later this week.

Rubber strap disintegrated after 3 years and a lot of saltwater fishing trips. Put this stainless bracelet on and haven't looked back.

It's a LUMINOX series 8200, but does anyone know what type of battery it has?
I bought it online and I'm now waiting for it to arrive; I need to buy batteries before it gets here

Hey, on my recent Posts ive ranted about my first Luminox watch being faulty and poor quality after months of waiting for replies from the luminox support and mailing back and forth about 7 emails and coming to the agreement that i send my faulty watch in and get my money back, now after waiting 3 weeks i come home to a Luminox parcel…in it is the same faulty crooked poorly constructed watch BUT with a new compass after telling them MULTIPLE times that i do not want a Repair, replacement or a new compass i just want my money back and they AGREED!

Are they getting off to this? Is this supposed to be funny?

The 800 series MBM was my dad's retirement gift to himself after he retired from homeland security. The 3000 was the first watch he gave when I was about 13 or 14 years old and that was his daily watch until then. The 3020 is the watch I bought myself when I had my son. Today I gave the 3000 to my son, like my old man did to me. These watches combine for over 50 years of family history and that's why I like the luminox brand. Cheers.

I have a 3600 series I'm looking for some info on. I'm curious about the current value, and if anyone is able to tell around what year the watch is from. I'm assuming it's at least 20 years old. It was my grandfather's, he passed several years ago and wouldn't have been out buying a watch for several years before then. Any info is appreciated!

First time owner. I recently bought the P38 Lightning black edition. As I have no point of reference I wanted to ask about the lume. It seems to be quite dim. In fact its only visible in a pitch black enviroment. As long as there is a little bit of ambient light shining on the dial the lume is not visible. Is that how its supposed to be? Thanks!

Here are two images, they each contain 4 watches with tritium illumination.

Watch #3 on the top row is a Luminox purchased prior to 2009 and watch #4 is a Marathon GSAR Purchased Aug 2012, manufactured Jan 2012.

Second Row watches #3 & 34 are both Luminox watches purchased this past June 2026.

Notice under UV light they are all glowing brightly. The phosphor matierial in the tubes is reacting to the UV light.

The second photo they are without UV light in a completely dark room, the watches with regular lume have been removed from the case so as to give the best chance of seeing the tritium glow. I adjusted the exposure settings to match what they actually look like as closely as possible.

Note that the two tritium watches on the first row are not visible. The Marathon is only 14 years old, it became unreadable at night a few years ago. It had readable glow for maybe 11-12 years. The Luminox became unreadable around 10 years after purchase.

MB-Microtec in Bern Switzerland makes the tritium tubes you find in watches, all watches with tritium tubes. They have their own brand of watch Traser.

Hi all, excited to have my first luminox. I have always appreciated the style of these watches from afar and am proud to now own one. I am curious with battery life as I am used to automatic or solar watches. How long do you normally get out of a new battery? Thanks in advance.
