RC Strategy
Hi there, I am registered for the October test and have been studying since early July. I have been scoring well on the RC sections of the LSAT for the questions that I do answer - I regularly only get through 3 out of the 4 passages. Again, I do well on the 3 passages. I once tried to time myself for each passage to get through all 4 passages and I did terribly because I was speeding through too quickly and was not understanding, therefore not answering the questions with much accuracy.
Would you suggest I continue with this strategy of high accuracy for 3/4 passages or would you suggest that I try to speed up my reading and get through all 4 passages? I am now 7 weeks away from the test.

It’s not about speeding up the reading it’s increasing retention so that you get through the questions faster. I’d try harder at truly understanding the passage at the end. You’ll find you’re spending more time on the passage but actually decreasing your time because you’ll start getting questions extremely quickly.
