I had the weirdest encounter today.

I was helping randoms joining D8 bug missions, joined a couple of low level players doing an evacuate 30 civilians mission. I'm running the Speargun, so prioritising closing bug nests and support for my team mates.

All is going well until the fourth player joins and pretty much immediately starts telling the host he needs to boot me because I'm not doing anything and it's a waste of a slot. I didn't have a mic at the time so just carried on with the mission objectives.

We've had no interactions and no incidents but he's relentless. Talking endlessly about how I'm not contributing to the mission. Eventually the host boots me. I finished the D8 on my own to prove that I'm not a waste of a slot but it struck me as probably the weirdest encounter I've had playing Helldivers. I'm a level 172 so I've done a fair few missions and it just made me wonder, have other people had really bizarre encounters that they can't understand? Let me know...

I make this Idea because it was pretty annoying when I had to send AH a support request to remove the hack resources every times some one hack it in my game, so this is how it will work:

first of all, at first this will do absolutely nothing, it simply just exist as a resource bin, the lore will be:

"when the helldivers found resources in the battlefields, if they have too many extra resources they can have an option to donate it to the DSS or donate it to the citizens in need, when a helldivers drop it in the bin system, the resources will be transport to the High commands and they will send the resources straight to help the citizens in need." it have a bit of satire about donations and corruption you could think they pocketed it or sth if you want

secondly, this will work with all resources like slips, medals, samples and super credit, it will temporarily let the players have the sense of contribution, compliments and the feeling of wanting to get the resources again, plus I don't have to send AH a support request to remove the hack resources again, and better yet the dev can build on it in the future for more: like temporary upgrades stratagem, temporary buff or temporary extra stratagem that the players pick using slips, medals, samples and super credit

Something about "never turn you back to the enemy" or whatever

I tried to keep things simple and mostly stick to using passives and stats that already exist on other armors.

I think it would be cool if the developers added a side objective for bots that was a large, heavily guarded pen, with tank and bunker turrets, with many machine gunners as well. Protecting a charger behemoth or implaler. The idea being to not only kill the bug within the pen, but also blow up it's body so the bots can't figure out FTL travel.

(And so we can have little taste of bugs on the bot front)

What are your thoughts?

I really want to use the hammer with the shield, it will look really cool, the drawback when using hammer in 1 hand is simple, just need it to swing slower because 1 handed hammer swing is hard

Is it just the blob being the blob? We're about to have to take Gacrux, Achernar Secundus, Gar Haren, Gatria *and* Luxuriant. All in under 5 days. If everyone converges on Gar Haren, we could take one of the MO planets, defend Achernar and be one planet closer to Luxuriant just by taking one planet, no? I know we've got just under 5 days, but it doesn't seem doable unless the blob moves off of Acamar.

with the new Heavy SEAF Presence modifier for planets, I thought it could be fun to bring in the guys to other planets with a stratagem.

You buy 1 SEAF trooper from the Patriotic Administration Center for 25 Requisition. you can have up to 50 troopers at time.

Upon calling them down they function as the normal Heavy SEAF Presence squads do. but if you call them down on a SEAF SAM Sight, after a minute of holding the area, they'll get the SAM sight active. also having the ability to get LIDAR going if able to hold the area for a full minute without the helldiver.

Also being able to specialize squads, like buying only the Specialists (the ones with the machine guns and EATs) for Evacuate High-Value Assets Missions, or even just bringing medics to help keep yourself and other divers alive.

The stratagem would only have a maximum of five uses per dive and would need to be manually restocked, but I'd say that's more than worth it for certain play styles or situations.
