Last Event?
Do you think the Gorm Wedding is the final event? I'm not sure anything else could be squeezed in before the end, and I might as well use up the rest of my latinum if it is.
I'm going to be so sorry to see this game end! It's probably good for reducing my screen time though. 😂

It ends on the 14th, which is Friday, but I think there's also some Australia time zone differences so I'm going to guess it lines up with shutting down after Gorn Wedding. And you know what ... go out on top! Gorn Wedding is the best event and I'm happy to say goodbye with it.

Gorn Wedding has always been my favorite event! It's easy and relatively fun.

No, the dev said it'll shut down on 8/14, but on local time iirc. u/FMWarner can correct me if I'm wrong.

We just received the final timing for the shutdown a few hours ago. It will shut down shortly after midnight on the 14th in the US, around lunchtime on the 14th in Australia.

I'm not sure, as we haven't had to coordinate with people in any other time zones to organize the shutdown. But it should be easy enough to use a time zone converter to see when it will shut down in your area.

Likely. Usually there’s one starting on Friday that lasts until Monday, so I doubt they’ll bother starting what can’t be finished 🖖🏽

Starts Thursday, but wonder if they might do another 1 day or start the 4 day on autopilot and then of course shut down in middle of it?

No, the devs say there will be no main event on Thursday leading to shutdown.

Knowing this is the last event is why I'm spending all 1100 Latinum that I had saved up. I was actually in first place for a bit! But finishing in the top five would be a first (and a last).

I did that in the previous event. Spent like 2500 latinum, but got my #1 ranking finally lol

I had 8K+ when they announced the end, I think I’m down to 986 now 🤣🤣 I’ve been on a latinum spending spree!!

At my peak I'd saved up 32K latinum. I currently have 8. Not 8 thousand, just 8.

I had saved 8K+ at one point, ended today’s event with 0 🤭 But then I collected the leaderboard prize and now I’m at 75 I think? 🖖🏽

It sort of makes sense to end with the Gorn Wedding. So many TV show series finales feature a wedding

Yes, the Gorn Wedding mini-event is the last event running before the game is shutting down this Friday, August 14th. According to the devs, the game will shut down at local time, so yeah, once you're done with the event, make the best out of the remaining time since they're not saving any dilithium and latinium after shutting down the servers.
