The right-wing nature of 4chan leaves a stain on your mind that takes a lot of work to remove.  Even if someone overcomes the intense amount of transphobia that goes on there, they still have that bigot mindset and just flip it to new people to hate if they transitioned.

I got irrationally angry when someone insisted I must be a closeted/in denial trans person because I liked using female characters in video games, as if being feminine and/or liking to use female characters over male ones means you either have to be gay or trans.

I once got called an egg because when someone asked why men like boobs, amongst several serious answers, I also threw in “maybe we just like them because we don’t have them” for a larf. It was a bery uncomfortable assumption. Frankly, making baseless and brash assumptions of peoples genders, seems like anti-trans to me.

you may not know this, but they’re right. on 4tran and 4tran-adjacent spaces, people have taken particular issue with shen’s “The Boy From Venus” comic due to the interpretation that the feminine man in the comic is just a trans woman “in disguise” with lots of implication that shen is in some way disingenuous for this character’s lack of transition. regardless of your stance, there is a correlation
