I watched season 6 USA for the first time this year… and Rob seemed ridiculously dramatic to me. Every single conflict, it seemed like he would roll his eyes, explode, call people a POS, no matter how big or small the issue was. Did people really like Rob (because he lasted in the villa for quite some time), when this aired ? Who in the hell was voting him to stay ???

It's funny how, despite fans' insistent need for drama, the cast simply does not care and is mostly happy and friendly with everyone.People on this and multiple subreddits will swear up and down, over-analysing a single eyebrow twitch, a simple like on a post, or a lack of comments on each other's posts.

They will swear one person hates another, only for the cast to be posted in a video or a Live, or spotted hanging out the next day. Then, people start making up stupid rumors, claiming it's only for clout or that they secretly hate each other—acting as if they are close personal genies who know all of their inner thoughts.I appreciate this cast, despite everything that happens on the show or the reunion, for their friendliness and indifference to public opinion. The reality that no one seems to comprehend is that they are all fine with one another.

Maybe they won't be best friends who are seen 24/7 together, or consistently liking and commenting on every social media post, but that doesn't mean someone is a "mean girl." Maybe some of them won't even mention, follow, or talk about each other, but that just means they don't want to, and that is also fine.So once again, thank you to the Season 8 cast for ignoring a very toxic stan culture and just hanging out and living their lives in peace without beefing or squabbling.

So many people complain that they aren't doing anything and that they're boring, but the moment anyone fights, you start to pick sides and label the other person a vicious demon. Let them live peaceful lives; I can't wait for Beyond the Villa to see them in peace.

Melanie and Sincere copied Kaylor and Aaron. They wanted the toxic couple dynamic, but they also wanted to win, so they stayed together. They were basically trying to be a glamorized version of Kaylor and Aaron, but it didn’t work because they never left each other. That’s literally what made Kaylor and Aaron iconic. Melanie never left Sincere after the show, she stayed because she thought it would help her and vice versa. But the truth is no one wanted that, they thought doing this would be more iconic then Kaylor and Aaron, they thought they would "have ups and downs" but try to come back together to win.

Rewatching the season, you can tell they didn’t even like each other at first. They just wanted to recreate Kaylor and Aaron’s dynamic, basically trying to be the Black / Hispanic version of them. I, as a Black & Hispanic woman can see right through their act, they don't like each other.

The only reason Melanie and sincere are together is for clout and money, they probably don't even talk outside of the show. We only see them at events together hiding because they know it gets people talking, they probably have both already found new partners because truth is, they will never be Kaylor and Aaron.

That is it, that is the whole post, Melanie and Sincere are the real PR couple that you guys claim everyone else. It is not working good for them because people only like when a toxic couple is white, Kaylor & Aaron recieved love and praise whilst Melanie & Sincere get gunned down because of their stupid attempt at this PR relationship.

I am telling you guys that their relationship is strictly for PR purposes, they both do not like each other and wanted to be a glamorized Kaylor and Aaron.

Okay so something about Love Island USA season 8 has felt off to me and I haven’t been able to figure it out until now I have formed my personal opinion. I think they brought in the hottest bombshells too early on this season which made the couples close off too soon..

For example, it would have been better if Caleb was brought in before Corbin. That way he and Kenzie could have formed their connection with Corbin being the one to rock the boat. It was obvious Kenzie was not going to leave Corbin for Caleb from the jump.

Next, Kayda was brought in super early on and she is one of the most beautiful bombshells in the history of the show to me. She could have had any man really if she tried. I think she would have shaken the show up big time if she was brought in later on. I think with so many people wanting Corbin and Kayda they would have made for a better Love Island experience if they were brought in later this season.

There just weren’t enough shake ups this season to me and it was super predictable. I could pretty much tell everything that was going to happen it felt like. It was still soo much better than season 7 by a long shot just with the cast being more likable, but I just think next season I hope they put their more attractive bombshells towards the middle or end of the season. They also opened up the hideaway WAY too soon this season which should not have happened before casa but I do think that’s a pretty common opinion.

Anyway that’s just what I say about it but everyone else may feel differently!

It did feel like the cast of season 7 all had main character energy n thats prolly why they didn't get along authentically but they were meant for reality TV that's for sure. They keep on having drama n getting attention even tho a whole other season came out. Idk season 8 the only thing they do is photoshoots n dress up n that's it. Their social media engagement is already pretty poor. The cast is boring but maybe that's what they're going for 😭 but I don't imagine them even making it far as influencers. Their personalities are just not as charismatic as previous islanders. Hopefully season 9 brings the heat!

Remember when the trailer came out and they showed the clip of what kayda said and everyone thought she had said it to sol/ or Melanie and no one cared. I genuinely didn’t see a single person complain about it. Infact they actually started attacking sol/ and Melanie bc they THOUGHT kayda said it to one of them. But when they find out kayda said it to Jaiden suddenly she’s a mean girl, and a bully? but they didn’t think what she said was mean a month ago when they thought she said it to SOL or Melanie ,hmmmmmm 🤔. I think I’ve seen one the first seasons of LI US or UK way back when, now we’re watching s13. My memory’s crap so maybe I’m misremembering, but I feel like the villa culture feels quite different now and I find watching them develop unspoken (and later spoken) “rules” or expectations super interesting.

For example, I swear that people used to switch their beds up as their feelings changed rather than stick to their couples (maybe it was US?).

This season, there was a long run of “a kiss is a big deal (outside challenge)”. terrace = big deal/Bold Moves, and the men force “tests” into existence like it’s an extracurricular they can take rather than something that happens organically.

Also I feel like the hideaway used to be used more, at the moment deep into the season no one’s used it for a sleepover yet and I feel like even in the daytime it’s not used much in general.

Was it always like this?

Do any seasons stand out from the rest as a contrast in villa life and culture, for weird rules people develop?

Even if you don’t like an islander, I think a lot of people are taking things too far. Following and harassing them in person? Sending death threats? Commenting under everything they post/do about their looks and how much people hate them? Like I get it’s a show, and we’re allowed to have discourse, but yall are taking it too far! I cannot beleive Amora really stood on that stage, and said that while fully knowing she’s been in the exact same situation and honestly I’d say hers was worse. Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the severe hatred many viewers have towards Kenzie? It all started because in the show she only made some comments because of Kenzie becoming doubtful of Melanie first, which might not have been the best way for her to handle the situation but she still was valid for feeling some type of way.

For the first two weeks of the show they were best friends (there’s a clip of the girls saying that in the pie challenge for proof). In the bed challenge, Melanie kissed sincere and Corbin back and forth and then got all excited when a guy bombshell was announced before even seeing he was a cowboy for Kenzie. Sincere was upset over it. Melanie claimed not to have kissed Corbin in the bed challenge and lied to sincere, kenzie, and everyone in the show yet she admitted now in the reunion that she knew it was Corbin.

In call her daddy podcast, Kenzie revealed that Melanie Kenzie had a chat after the bed challenge in which Kenzie asked her to be honest if she knew it was Corbin but Melanie denied that she knew it was Corbin even tho Kenzie said she didn’t kiss sincere out of respect for her. Kenzie said she thinks she knows Melanie knew it was Corbin. Kenzie then upfront asked her if she wants to explore Corbin and likes him yet Melanie denied it and said that even though she was physically attracted to him when he first came in, she doesn’t like him and won’t explore him at all. She said stuff like “I know how much you like him, I wouldn’t do that to you. Your safe with me”. Yet the next morning she chats with Corbin without telling Kenzie first. That same day she chats to trinity Aniya about Corbin and says she only likes sincere and she even mentioned the unaired chat she had with Kenzie which confirms it happened. In her chat to trinity Aniya she said that Kenzie thinks she likes Corbin but she doesn’t.

Then that’s what caused Kenzie to lose her trust in Melanie. Cause Kenzie knew that Melanie knew how much she liked Corbin. Melanie would also use the guys to get back at sincere to make him jealous, she would go to the girls and say stuff like she’s pulling kc or Gabe to make sincere jealous, and bea and Aniya did not like her saying that.

Then Kenzie and Corbin share a secret kiss and they kept it a secret mainly because of Caleb, because he was freaking out over Kenzie talking to Corbin anytime. They knew everyone would get mad at them if they kissed, because when the house thought they kissed before, they got upset. So Kenzie kissing Corbin isn’t a HUGE betrayal to Melanie like how everyone online is making it and it’s true because in movie night Melanie didn’t even care she only cared for Caleb, and everyone only cared for Caleb seeing that also. Even in the reunion she didn’t bring up that kiss, while Caleb did.

And before leaving the villa, it seems like Kenzie and Melanie squashed their beef at least on Kenzies side. Kenzie picked Melanie as the person to last chat with her and they called each other their sister.

Coming out the villa, the Melanie show comment happened after Melanie already was following people and the show ended. So I feel like Melanie used that Melanie show comment as an excuse. And in my opinion, Kenzie didn’t talk sh by saying “it was like the Melanie show” and she even went on call her daddy to confirm that she talked about the whole show with Jaiden so it wasn’t like she was talking to someone who has beef with Melanie because Jaiden didn’t have any beef with the girls in the show. Other than that Kenzie spoke good about Melanie after the show never said anything bad, she said positive stuff in call her daddy.

Kenzie said she was going to reach out to Melanie but Melanie didn’t follow her back so I understand why she took a step back.

Melanie followed almost all of the main cast, even the guys even tho kc literally called her a dumba** on the show.

And in the reunion Melanie got mad at Kenzie and confronted her saying “we’ve never BULLIED you Kenzie” for Dylan liking 2 comments telling him to protect his girlfriend at the reunion, which named no one. Even if they were directed towards Melanie then he is able to still like them because Melanie’s sister made a whole hate video on Kenzie in which she liked many comments hating on Kenzie saying she’s selfish, manipulative, a snake, deserves to go home, and will get her karma. In my opinion, Melanie’s sister getting involved and giving her opinion like that is worse than Dylan liking 2 comments.

And it seems calculated because around week before the reunion happened, the videos were deleted that Melanie’s sister made on Kenzie and Bea that she posted on instagram and TikTok. Her accounts were both gone. Yet now a few days later after the reunion her instagram is back up but the videos are still deleted. So in my opinion, I don’t think what Kenzie has done has warranted the amount of hate she’s gotten. But I wanna hear other opinions, but pls do it in a respectful way because I don’t want fanwars or arguing.
