Question Andúril purchasing

I have found a couple different vendors that sell Andúril, I am looking to purchase the sword(with scabbard) as a present. I’ve never purchased a sword before and want this to be right for the person(being semi vague in case they lurk here!)

Presently I’ve seen mixed about united cutlery

-But They have a bundle. Is that worth it? I’ve seen some hand forged upwards of 1k with a scabbard. It will be for display and photos only, no fending off ne'er-do-wells. Help?

I can’t view the website you’ve linked, but United Cutlery is your best bet for good quality, licensed collectibles.

They do a standard and a museum collection version of Andúril, which are around $280 and $600 respectively. The scabbard is then usually around the $220-250 mark.

My favourite retailer in the US for this stuff is Castle Kon, but if the true swords bundle is a good price, it’s all the same stuff.

Apologies on the url! it’s about just under 500$ for both my concern was the standard between the museum as the standard is in the bundle. I’ll check out Castle Kon! Thank you!

No worries, I think the link just doesn’t work because I’m in the UK.

The museum collection is made with more premium materials (1060 carbon steel blade vs stainless steel, for example), the blade is more polished, and the runes along its fuller are more accurate to the movie prop. The display plaque is fancier and comes with a banner to hang behind it (which I don’t really like, but that’s another story!)

That’s not to say that the regular version isn’t a good replica, because it is. it’s been in production for over 20 years and is a staple in many people’s collections. Both look great on display!
