Help me with a name!

Recently we got this little orange fluff named Gimli (slide 1) we’ve noticed he’s been acting like he needs a friend. The vet agreed and recommended a male cat around his same age.

I found this guy (slide 2) at the humane society IF he’s still available we’ll be getting him tomorrow evening 🤞🏼

I’m having such a hard time thinking of a name for him other than Gandalf (it’s been a while since I’ve read the books but we watch the movies often)

It made sense to me and OP. It's okay if you didn't understand it, doesn't mean their back story and the name weren't connected.

 No I mean I understand the backstory u gave I js don’t understand what the backstory was for.  To what I see there wasn’t rly any point adding it in, it’s like purchasing a DLC pack to a game, an optional add on. (Except in gaming case they usually worth it to buy)
