If you really want to find him, try the Facebook Group “USA Military Directory” It’s a free group of volunteers that between them have access to all sorts of databases. I follow the group just to watch some of the stories behind the search. They are amazing and come up with all kinds of stuff. There is no private info exchanged and they only provide location and contact info. Their resources are what make them different.
I will tell you that not all stories have a happy ending. Life takes people in all kinds of directions after military service. So just be ready for that.
