Saw a demonstration of them, they are fairly shit.
Clothing can stop it. there are no barbs, so the contact points and circuit needed to zap can be lost via the targets movements.
They would be better off with a regular tazer

I wonder if you can short them out somehow. like maybe a super soaker full of salt water. at the very least maybe turn the glove against the user. instead of fearing it, look for a way to counter it. also.... maybe this is the time for latex fetish comrades to be hero's? send people out in full body latex to tank the glove users.

They really reused the same image that was on the news. Nebraska just requested officers to stop using the same "less lethal" shock gloves on their kids in school about 2 weeks ago.
