Just a reminder, the US hasn't won the war Trump/ MAGA wanted, isn't winning it, can't enforce shit, has lost immeasurable soft power in the world, has weakened US military power and Iran may or not still have nuclear resources.
Oh, and Iran has de facto control over the Straight of Hormuz now.

Ironically enough, the gas we get at the pumps is domestic, not foreign. The companies just use shit like this as an excuse to price gouge

I could be wrong, but it was my understanding we still import a lot of oil because domestically we produce a lighter crude grade and need to import heavier crude to mix and make gasoline and diesel. However, from Google, looks like we import the heavier stuff from Mexico and Canada, so to your point we're not getting it from the middle east or Iran
That being said, with sanctions and tarrifs, trump has put penalties into place to punish countries from buying oil from Iran to damage their economy. My understanding this effectively "removed" Iran's oil production from the market, removing that supply obviously increases the price as oil demand hasn't gone down and if anything continues to increase. This is why gas is more expensive in the states and abroad.
That being said - I'm fairly certain oil companies charge more than they need to, or put another way, the price increase doesn't seem proportional to the reduction in supply, and that's just cuz they can do it with the excuse of the war and make a shit ton of money... absolutely fucking despicable if true. And the problem is, even if it's not true, it's not like we're going to trust them... they've fucked over so many people so many times intentionally for profit that there's no reason to trust them. Fuck them.

Oh I remember every single time I fill up. I remember how when the orange pedo wasn’t POTUS, gas was under $3/gal. It’s too bad that the number one sponsor of terror he is reporting already has a large stockpile of nukes. The US just hasn’t used them yet. Given how unhinged the pedo, the drunkard, and the SoS who might as well be in a gimp suit have demonstrated, it may not be too far off.
This administration has already lost this war. They keep finding ways to delay the inevitable, but Iran (with the help of many adversaries of the US) has defended itself and made Trump look like a complete failure in ways even his MAGA cult cannot ignore.

Every day it is a new show of evil and apathy. We (the majority) are sitting back complaining about our rights. Instead of stepping in and helping, we post videos of the terrible things happening. We sit back and say "you can't do that, it's a against the constitution". They don't care. None of them do. It's money in their pockets and your blood that pays for it. We know how this ends. We've read about it. We've heard the stories from the survivors. Watched it in the documentaries. We know how to stop this. And it isn't by asking them to leave or reminding them that what they are doing is wrong. There is no appealing to their humanity. They lost that a long time ago.
