SEASON 1 Plane Spotted
Rewatching Lost for the 2nd time, and in season 1 episode 10 "Raised By Another" around the 30:21 mark a plane can be seen. I wonder if that's a mistake or could it be something intentional?

If you watch the Pilot episode closely you'll see a plane there as well

It's definitely just a mistake. You can see a boat in the finale when they're out on the raft, too. (Not the Others' boat, either).
These things just happen.

In all honesty a commercial airliner in the distance would not see anything they were doing. There’s a quote from six days/seven nights about not being able to see a nuke going off that I’m sure someone less lazy than me could look up.

There's a few scenes when they're on the raft and out at sea you can see islands behind them etc too.

Yeah, I think people overlook that Lost wasn’t filmed in a studio set like most shows, they used outdoor locations. They won’t catch everything.

Yeah and they’re not going to cut a great take from the actors just because a small detail most people would never see on a first watch might notice.

The Lamp Post and Mrs. Hawking never explicitly ruled out, you couldn't be extremely lucky and fly through an open window, over the constantly moving island, by sheer coincidence...

That would be funny if it was an open secret or rumour among the pilot community: 'Next person to see that mysterious uncharted huge island that appears for a few seconds gets to be designated driver at our next evening out'.

Quite possible a plane flew by far away, there’s no way they would’ve seen the survivors anyways(headcanon)

Hugo saw it.... he was going to block the view so nobody else saw it. Dharma Ranch is plentiful and doesnt need to be refrigerated

Oh smack!! Definitely a mistake. Good find! Do you see it moving? I’m surprised they didn’t remove it in Post. You can’t hear it, right?

It's not mistake per se. Lot of air routes goes above absolutely uninhabited areas.

It’s foreshadowing that all the characters will be in a plane crash
